语法

(一)一般过去时的各种句型转换:

  1. 一般疑问句结构为:Did + 主语 + 动词原形 + ……?

    肯定回答:Yes, … + did.
    否定回答:No, … + didn’t.

    • e.g.:

      • A: Did you catch any fish?
      • B: Yes, I did./No, I didn’t.
    • 句式训练:将下列句子改为一般疑问句,并作肯定和否定回答。

      • My father went fishing last Saturday.

      • We flew kites in the park last weekend.

      • He played football yesterday.

      • They picked some oranges on Sunday.

      • An old man lived in the house.

      • The king was very angry.

  2. 一般过去时的特殊疑问句结构:疑问词 + did + 主语 + 动词原形 + ……?

    • 例:

      • A: Where did you go for the holiday?

        B: I went to a farm. (重在回答地点)

      • A: What did you do for the holiday?

        B: I visited the . (重在事情。)

      • A: Why did you call me?

        B: Because I wanted to give you the fish. (重在陈述原因。)

      • A: How was your holiday?

        B: It was great fun. (重在表达感受)

    • 句式训练:将划线部分提问。

      • I went to school by bike this morning.

      • The weather was rainy.

      • The old man lived in the forest.

      • The boy looked sad because he lost his new kite.

      • I found the kite near the hill.

      • I did the housework on Saturday.

(二)不规则动词过去式

本单元又出现了一些新的不规则动词过去式,现总结如下:

口诀

一般过去时并不难,过去动作、状态记心间。

动词要用过去式,时间状语句末站。

否定句很简单,didn't 站在动原前,其它部分不要变。

一般疑问句也好变,did 放在句子前,主语、动原、其它部分依次站立。

特殊疑问句也简单,疑问词加一般疑问句记心间。

最后一条请注意,动词过去式要牢记!

语言知识点

  1. the 的用法:本单元重在讲述 travel

    experiences(旅游经历),旅游景点都是唯一的,作为唯一性的名词前均须加上 the。如:

    • the Bund
    • the Shanghai Museum
    • the Great Wall
    • the Palace Museum
    • the Summer Palace

    Tian’anmen Square 前是不加 the 的。

  2. 有关 holiday : 本单元有 3 个板块,即 Story time, Fun time, Checkout time,

    都谈论了 the National Day holiday. 课后的写话练习也要求围绕这个话题展开。

    而 Culture time 谈论的是英国的三个主要学校假期:

    • the Easter holiday,
    • the summer holiday
    • the Christmas holiday

    可以在课外补充有关这三大节日人们经常做的事,操练本课的句型。

  3. I wanted to give you the fish. 我想把鱼给你。

    此句中,want to do sth. 想做某事。如:

    My father wants to clean the car this afternoon.
    我爸爸想今天下午清洗汽车。

    此句中,give sb. sth. = give sth. to sb. 给某人某物,把某物给某人

    Did you give the book to Su Hai? = Did you give Su Hai the book?
    你把书给苏海了吗?

  4. She is excited about the show. 她对这个表演很兴奋。

    注意:be excited 前往往是“某人很兴奋”。如:

    The boy was excited to see many interesting things.
    这男孩看到这么多有趣的东西很兴奋。

    We are excited about the news.
    我们听到这个消息很兴奋。

  5. ask … about … & ask about …

    Tina asks Bobby about Sam. Tina 问 Bobby 有关 Sam 的情况。
    Tina asks about the show. Tina 询问有关表演的情况。

    ask … about … 问某人有关某事
    ask about … 打听/ 询问有关某事

    例如:

    Liu Tao asked me about the football match. 刘涛问我有关足球赛的情况。
    Liu Tao asked about the football match. 刘涛打听/ 询问有关足球赛的情况。

  6. 本单元出现了许多表示赞叹的句子,如:

    • It was great fun.

    • That’s great.

    • Wow, that’s interesting!

    • That’s cool!

    • What great fun!

    • It was wonderful at first.

    • Oh, that’s too bad!

  7. fish

    Did you catch any fish? 你抓到鱼了吗?
    Yes, I did. I caught a big fish. 是的,抓到了一条大鱼。

    指鱼的种类时用 fishes,其它情况用 fish

    fish 用作可数名词指“鱼的条数”时单数和复数形式相同(two fish 两条鱼),
    指“鱼的种类”时复数形式才为 fishes(two fishes 两种鱼);
    fish 用作不可数名词时无复数形式,应作“鱼肉”解。如:

    There are many fishes in the river. 河里有许多种鱼。
    There are two fish on the plate. 盘子里有两条鱼。
    Help yourself to some fish.随便吃些鱼。

语音

Use falling intonation (使用降调): 这一单元采用降调来读 Sound time, 让学生反复朗读,在模仿的过程中感受祈使句和陈述句的语调。

在第六单元将会进一步学习升降调。
